Most of the academic databases allow you to limit your search to peer reviewed or scholarly articles.  When you search, select the box that limits results to "peer reviewed" articles.  By selecting the box, the only results you will get will be articles that have gone through the peer-review process.  Here is an example from an Ebsco Database:
